Duration it took me to lose weight: 2 months

The turning point: One day, while I was climbing the stairs, I realised that it was becoming increasingly difficult for me to breathe properly. This realisation pushed me to turn my life around and lose those stubborn kilos.

My breakfast:
5 egg whites along with a bowl of oats.

My lunch:
Grilled chicken with spinach, raw cabbage, broccoli, cucumber along with some almonds.

My dinner: Same as lunch

Pre-workout meal:
I have 2 bananas with peanut butter before hitting the gym.

Post-workout meal:
I eat two 6 egg whites after my workout session.

I indulge in:
I absolutely love gorging on Misal Pav and Shawarma

My workout: My workout schedule is as follows:
1. I jog for 4 kilometres every morning.
2. I also do intense weight training every evening for around 2 hours, focusing on each and every body part.

Low-calorie recipes I swear by: I vouch on tomatoes, spinach, cabbage and almonds.

Fitness secrets I unveiled:
I have realised that drinking warm water helps in burning fat. Hence, I make it a point to drink 5 litres of warm water daily.

How do I stay motivated? Every time I feel a little down and out and demotivated, I watch Aamir Khan's drastic weight loss video for his movie, Dangal to get an instant boost of motivation. It keeps me going.

How do you ensure you don't lose focus? I
make it a point to eat right and watch motivational videos whenever I feel low. More importantly, I keep reminding myself about my weight loss goal.

What's the most difficult part of being overweight?
The worst part of being overweight is undoubtedly the fact that you cannot wear what you want to. Secondly, I was really irritated of getting exhausted so easily.

What shape do you see yourself 10 years down the line?
I just want to be fit and look young.


What are the lifestyle changes you made? I made a couple of changes and followed them pretty strictly. I started eating my meals on a fixed time, waking up on time and exercising regularly.


What was the lowest point for you? I was following a very strict diet, because of which I had started losing muscle weight. It was a very hard time for me but I fixed that by changing my diet.


Lessons learnt from weight loss: If there is one thing that I have understood in my quest to lose weight, it is that absolutely nothing is impossible. You can achieve everything in life if you are focussed enough.
